Traveling with DockATot: Your Best Friend for Trips With Baby

Baby Travel Tips with DockATot Baby lounger

We are so lucky to hear from our users about the many ways they use--and love--their DockATot baby loungers. One of the most popular themes that comes up is traveling with baby. The DockATot has seen many families through their vacations. With the height of family travel season upon us, we thought this would be the perfect time to look at the many ways our moms love to travel with their DockATot portable baby bed, co-sleeper and lounger.

Airplane Travel with DockATot

DockATot on the Airplane
DockATot can easily be checked as luggage, but some moms love carrying their DockATot on and using it on the airplane. Rachel Koren from Sunset Blonde posted on Instagram that her daughter was the most comfortable passenger on the plane thanks to DockATot. "Traveling with Kamila was so easy. She was such a good girl and slept pretty much the whole flight to Norway." However, if you do choose to check it, DockATot can easily fit into a duffel bag.

DockATot at the Beach and Pool
A poolside snooze is absolutely on the agenda with DockATot. With DockATot in tow, you won't need to bring baby up to the hotel room for their mid-day nap. Many moms write in to tell us the sheer luxury of having their little one get their rest while they relax under an umbrella with them at the beach or pool. "I love using it at the beach because it is a safe place for our baby to lounge, play, and sleep," says Emma, who's little one is pictured above. "When we would go to the beach before having DockATot, it was a constant battle to keep the sand off her and her off the sand! But now I have a safe place to "dock" her!" When traveling to and from the beach, Emma puts her DockATot in the zipper case it comes in. "It makes it super easy to transport and keeps it from getting dirty with all the other beach gear," she says.

DockATot portable baby lounger on vacation

Mom of two Ashely Mitchell says: "We took our DockATot Deluxe to South Carolina for a week long vacation on the beach. Porter had colic for three long months, so we had low expectations for the vacation," she says. "Every day I woke up nursed, went down to the pool or beach with our dock and set him up in a cabana (see picture above) he would sleep 3-4 hours wake up nurse again and go right back to sleep in his dock for another 3-4 hours. Vacation was a breeze with DockATot. People would pass and think he was a doll because he never made a peep! It made our vacation perfect!"

As nice as it would to have every family member invest in a safe and snug spot for your little one to rest and nap, the reality is that it's not happening. DockATot portable baby lounger makes it easy for your baby to get the rest they need even at grandma's or Aunt Suzy's. It's a familiar spot that they'll easily feel comfortable in even when they're away from home. Vanessa Espinosa from Arm Candy Fashion confesses on Instagram that she takes her DockATot Silver Lining baby lounger with her everywhere, so her little ones never miss a nap time.

We want to travel with our dock a tot and carry it on the plane but threw away the bag it came in. Do you sell the bags or any type of travel bag to put it in while traveling? Thanks!
