Building a DockATot Step 1
The very first step is to order all of the spare parts: Mattress pad, tubing and a cover.
Once all pieces have arrived, you can put together your new dock. If you already have a DockATot and have taken it apart to wash it, then putting a new DockATot together is essentially the same thing.

Dockatot TubingHere's how it works:

  • Place the mattress pad into pad portion of the cover and zip.
  • Place the tubing into the bumper section of the dock and gently zip, making sure to push material away from the zipper so it doesn't get stuck.
  • Enjoy your new customized dock!

How to care for your DockATot and all its parts!
Caring for the Pad:
Always avoid folding and creasing the pad. Do not squeeze the dock into too small spaces, such as small bassinets or strollers. We strictly advise against machine-washing and tumble-drying the pad, which can cause irreparable folding and creasing of the pad. Hand wash in cold water and lay flat to dry.

Caring for the Cover: The cover is made of 100% cotton. Like every single part of the dock, the cotton cover has been rigorously tested and proven free from harmful substances. As opposed to synthetic fibers, all natural fibers shrink a bit when washed the first time. Thanks to special finishing and pre-washing procedures we have taken, we have reduced the shrinkage to about 2.5-3%. This shrinkage has been taken into account when cutting and sewing the pieces for the cover.  Please hand wash the pad in cold water and lay flat to dry completely.

Caring for the Tube: Machine wash inside a garment bag in cold, then tumble dry on low to dry.  You can shake or fluff to redistribute the filling if necessary.
