THE OUTLET: Kind Essential Bassinet

This is the first product review I’ve ever written but I had to bc of how highly I recommend this product! We used this more as a secondary bassinet to the mini crib he primarily sleeps in. I live in a two story home with bedrooms/nursery upstairs and kitchen/everything else on the main floor. During my first few weeks PP I knew I wouldn’t want to be going up and down the stairs for every nap and this “box” (as we affectionately refer to it as) was a life saver! We also love how easy it is to travel with - on road trips, we pack all of his things inside of it - doubles as a great packing trunk.

One of my top 5 baby products that I’ve for sure gotten the most use out of. My friends were all skeptical about it being a cardboard box, but I knew this would work great for our family - and after seeing it, they all agree!

We love our bassinet. It's perfect for our low-rise bed, easy to assemble and perfectly cozy for our newborn. The blush bee pink color had me sold but I loved the other designs too.

I actually purchased this product, not given in exchange for review. It's a beautiful design but the sheets don't fit great, stain easy and the bassinet gets dinged from normal use. A month in, the cardboard is torn and the sheets have spit up stains you can't wash out for the life of you. Wish I could get a little longer use out of the bassinet :(... I might have to buy again, no matter how much I hate the idea, because it is the one bassinet I can move with one hand free from room to room.

This bassinet provided us peace of mind that our little one would be well rested and safe, and also that we weren't needlessly contributing to landfills. We love that it is collapsible and travels well, and travel with it on a weekly basis. Now, at almost 6 months, we're getting ready to transition to a crib, but are so grateful for how beneficial this has been for us! For those saying, "It's just a cardboard box," DUH! It says that in the description. But it's so much more than that. It's thoughtfully engineered to travel well, be lightweight, be designed beautifully, and be environmentally friendly. I recommend this product strongly to anyone considering those criteria.

I received this Kind Bassinet by Dockatot from Stellar Product Testing Panel in exchange for my honest review. It’s amazing how this product is made out of recyclable thick Cardboard. It also comes with a waterproof mattress and a cotton fitted sheet for it. This Bassinet is super easy to use, literally less than two minutes to set it up. Easy to move or carry around since it comes in a carry case for travel or storage. It’s confortable and looks luxurious. Thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to try this for my baby.

I was excited to receive a product from DockATot through Stellar Product Testing Panel. As someone who already owns and loves the lounger, I knew their quality was excellent. I received the Kind Bassinet and loved the ease of assembly. The Kind Bassinet is made of recyclable materials and is cleverly designed. I loved the marble colored finish, it was so chic and is the same marble they use for their covers for the lounger! The mission behind the design and function was impressive to read about. The company makes intricate cardboard designs and this eco friendly design is an extension to consumers who are wanting to be conscious of their impact on the planet. Even the insert for the bassinet is recyclable.

The bassinet itself is extremely lightweight and totally portable throughout the home. It would be especially helpful for anyone with small spaces as well.

At 4 months my baby can still fit in the bassinet, however, he will soon outgrow it. It’s perfect for those first few newborn months where you need to put your baby down but need the portability of something more stable that can stand alone.

The set up for the bassinet was so easy and under 60 seconds, hassle free for sure. Very easy to breakdown and set up wherever you take it, makes for a no brainer in portability.

Due to the material of the bassinet it is very lightweight and easy to move around anywhere in the house. I recently had carpal tunnel surgery so carrying heavy bulky items around the house is not something I can do and this bassinet has been a lifesaver when I put my tiny one for a nap or to hang out.

I will admit that I was skeptical when I saw that the bassinet was made with cardboard, but I was very impressed how the company managed to make a fully sustainable and sturdy product. I am in love with the bassinet and love that I can recycle it or even better reuse it after I don’t need it as a bassinet. My toddler constantly steals it to use as a bed for her stuffies, I have to negotiate with her to allow me to put her tiny sister in it.
