Kind Essential Bassinet - Big Blue

I actually purchased this product, not given in exchange for review. It's a beautiful design but the sheets don't fit great, stain easy and the bassinet gets dinged from normal use. A month in, the cardboard is torn and the sheets have spit up stains you can't wash out for the life of you. Wish I could get a little longer use out of the bassinet :(... I might have to buy again, no matter how much I hate the idea, because it is the one bassinet I can move with one hand free from room to room.

This bassinet provided us peace of mind that our little one would be well rested and safe, and also that we weren't needlessly contributing to landfills. We love that it is collapsible and travels well, and travel with it on a weekly basis. Now, at almost 6 months, we're getting ready to transition to a crib, but are so grateful for how beneficial this has been for us! For those saying, "It's just a cardboard box," DUH! It says that in the description. But it's so much more than that. It's thoughtfully engineered to travel well, be lightweight, be designed beautifully, and be environmentally friendly. I recommend this product strongly to anyone considering those criteria.

I was excited to receive a product from DockATot through Stellar Product Testing Panel. As someone who already owns and loves the lounger, I knew their quality was excellent. I received the Kind Bassinet and loved the ease of assembly. The Kind Bassinet is made of recyclable materials and is cleverly designed. I loved the marble colored finish, it was so chic and is the same marble they use for their covers for the lounger! The mission behind the design and function was impressive to read about. The company makes intricate cardboard designs and this eco friendly design is an extension to consumers who are wanting to be conscious of their impact on the planet. Even the insert for the bassinet is recyclable.

The bassinet itself is extremely lightweight and totally portable throughout the home. It would be especially helpful for anyone with small spaces as well.

At 4 months my baby can still fit in the bassinet, however, he will soon outgrow it. It’s perfect for those first few newborn months where you need to put your baby down but need the portability of something more stable that can stand alone.

I received The Kind Bassinet from Stellar Product Testing Panel. This bassinet is a simple, sturdy, and has such a unique design. The mattress provided is light weight, and soft, the mattress cover is also very soft, all together it provides adequate comfort for baby. The Kind Bassinet has very simple instruction for assembly, it's easy fold out design has many benefits, one being it's fast to get out and use and easy to put away, therefore moving the bassinet from room to room is a breeze. The size of the Kind Bassinet is short, small, and light weight, it's compact size and fold up design makes it perfect for travel and can be easily transported in almost any vehicle. All in all the bassinet is sturdy, comfy, and simple, it makes a good place for baby to nap or lay while you need free hands to get your tasks done. I would not use the Kind Bassinet as a bed side bassinet, it is incredibly short and wouldn't perform well in the duty of bedside placement.

My son is 2 months old and I was very excited to test this product. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this infant bassinet. I am impressed with the design and stability of this bassinet. I am able to move from room to room easily as well as take along for overnight trips. This bassinet made it easy to take an overnight trip and have somewhere safe for my son to sleep.

This bassinet was a bit different from your typical bassinet! I liked to use this bassinet in my living room or in my kitchen, because it was helpful to have to keep my 17 month old away and safe from my 4 month old. This bassinet was made of cardboard, so it was very lightweight. This was helpful because I could easily move the bassinet anywhere in my house. This bassinet was very easy to set up. It took only a few minutes to set up, which was very convenient! The material was nice, and I like that I’ll be able to reuse this for a toy box when she outgrows it. The only reason why I am giving it 4 stars is because it was pretty loud when my baby would move. This was an interesting bassinet, but my baby did well in it. I definitely liked the portability of this bassinet. It has been so helpful with having a 4 month old and a 17 month old. Thank you Stellar Product Testing Panel for this bassinet!

As a mom of 4, I have tried all the different options when it comes to bassinets. I really enjoyed this bassinet and how different it is from the other options. I love how simple but stylish it is, and how easy it is to set up. It’s so lightweight and easy to Cary around the house, but feels sturdy at the same time. I wasn’t sure what to expect with a cardboard box, but this bassinet is definitely more elevated and seems to hold up very well even when moving it around a lot, and with my toddlers playing nearby.

I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for something simple but chic!

I was given this infant bassinet to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I have to say I was skeptical about it being made from cardboard. I'm so surprised at how stable it is. It literally takes 30 seconds to set it up and or take it down, making it so easy to travel with or just move around the house. I got the Big Blue design. It is a beautiful design of blue, black and white. It really will work for either a boy or a girl. I personally find the mix of blues in with pinks for a girl beautiful. We are using it for a girl! The mattress pad is soft yet firm enough to provide good support for baby. The included matching fitted sheet is soft. It has great elastic that really holds it in place without moving or coming off. I feel good that when I'm done using this if someone else isn't in need of it I can totally recycle it.

I was given this infant bassinet to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. The Kind bassinet is an excellent option for portable baby sleep. It’s so light & compact to travel with, much better than lugging on the alternative. If you need a safe space while at home too, this will fit the bill. It’s light enough to carry room to room if need be, and quick enough to get together that you could store it daily to save space. We’ve used it upstairs, downstairs, out under the patio, & at grandma’s house. For the bassinet itself, setup is a breeze. The design is a no brainer - with 3 simple pieces, it all comes together in literally seconds. We have the Big Blue print & my baby enjoys gazing at all the colors while hanging out in it. The only thing we need to be cautious about at my house, is our older children “testing” it out. While it does seem very durable, I don’t want to test its limits with my 3.5 year old.

The Kind Bassinet comes in a cardboard box and is essentially itself a fancy cardboard box. It could not possibly be easier to set up. There are literally 4 steps. Totally gives 90’s filing box vibes BUT the actual bassinet itself is super cute with a legit mattress and fitted sheet. It’s so light that my 16 month old son could pick it up and move it around the room when my 2 month old daughter wasn’t in it. That’s the where the problem lies though. It’s low enough that our 16 month old son would climb in it and stand, and also chuck his toys in there. It’s really a hazard if you have a rambunctious toddler running around. They can injure themselves and also injure the baby. I think it would be a really great fit for a family that has older kids and a newborn, but not so great for us.
